The Start Of TMMSMA

Textile Machinery and Mill Stores Merchants Association (TMMSMA) Coimbatore was established in the year 1986 with 12 members. Now it is flourishing well with more than 330 members.

It’s members are engaged either in production or marketing Textile Machinery Spares and Accessories required by the Textile Spinning, Weaving and Processing Units.

We are functioning from our own building at Cox street, Coimbatore, the heart of ‘Textile Machinery Spares’ market area. The building complex has been named as ” Texspares Complex” and it is a permenant exhibition of Textile Machinery Spares and Accessories for the representatives, Technical Personals and for the textile units.

The First Edition of our ‘Members Directory’ was released in the year 2000 and was well encouraged by the Textile Industry.After the second edition in the year 2005, the third edition of ‘Members Directory’ was released.

The Tamilnadu Government has announced for ‘Textile Machinery and Parts’ the commodity code No.823 by their GO No.43.

It is our ambition that all the textile manufacturers and traders become the members of the Association to serve them and the society better.

Recent Activities Of Our Association

We have appointed a legal consultant.Members those who needs guidance regarding labour laws and other legal doubts arising related to our trade can contact Advocate Mr.Manoharan. ( Mobile: 098422-16552 ).

We have introduced a bulk SMS service, through which members acn send their advertisements. This SMS will reach all 330 members at a nominal charge of Rs.500-00.

We invite 2 old members as special guest to our monthly committee meeting and honor them.We take note of their valuable suggestion. We also invite 4 new members every month to the meeting and honor them.

We have traced more than 300 textile spares dealers who are active in business but are yet to join our Association. We have sent a letter to all of them, with a request to join our Association. Due to this effort, 22 new members have joined TMMSMA.

We have a set a target to add maximum members and make our Association to reach more than 500 members.

Our Association is participating in all TEXFAIR exhibitions and rendering our full support in the success of the exhibition.

Future Plans Of Our association

In this website we place advertisements of our members by collecting a reasonable charge, thereby raising our Association funds.
To send a monthly circular to all our members with useful information.
We are planning to develop a common facility centre in the land allocated to our Association in Coddissia Industrial Park.
This year happen to be the 30 Year Completion of our Association. To celebrate this Pearl Jubilee year, we are in the process of bringing a new members directory and Souvenir.
